Drawing contest for school children about food waste prevention

Due to measures taken to restrict the epidemic, children are not allowed to attend schools, thus the classic school programme activities of Wasteless had to be replaced. For this reason, the National Food Chain Safety Office launched in April 2020 a drawing contest about food waste prevention, targeting 8- to 12-year-old children. In addition to the individual prizes for the kids, the most skillful artists’ schools was rewarded with composting bins (20 in total). More than 280 beautiful works were received. The submitted works were evaluated by the team of Wasteless, and the winners were selected by public vote from the selected drawings.

The virtual gallery of drawings can be viewed here.
